Curious about Creativity, Connection and Community
I’m a creative facilitator based in Frome, Somerset and have worked with communities, groups and organisations across the UK on a freelance basis since 2019. Fuelled by a passion for bringing people together, a curiosity about how people create and experience community as well as a drive to challenge the status quo, I work in a number of creative ways to explore these aspects of life, death and community with others.
I've worked in a range of different health, social care and charity settings centring around connecting with communities including the NHS, St Christopher's Hospice and GoodGym. Originally training as a ceramicist at Central St Martin's College of Art and Design, I bring design-thinking and creative problem solving to my practice in addition to my experience running community-based projects on a local to national level.
I am also a co-director of The Loss Project who connect people through the experience of grief, loss and trauma via workshops, training, consultancy and bespoke creative community projects. We work with losses in all of their forms and are learning how we can generate a community response to loss as a part of life.
