AFFORDABLE PSYCHOTHERAPY IN Bath & FROME

A space to feel heard, understood and less alone

Therapy can offer a space to slow down and make sense of what is happening in your life.

You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, lonely or stuck. You might be struggling in relationships, carrying the impact of past experiences, or finding it difficult to understand why things feel the way they do. Sometimes people come to therapy with a clear sense of what they need help with, and sometimes they simply know that something doesn’t feel right. Both are welcome.

I offer affordable individual psychotherapy for adults in Bath and Frome, grounded in care, curiosity, deep understanding and creativity.

HOW I WORK

I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space where we can explore whatever has brought you to therapy.

My practice is grounded in deep understanding, curiosity, care and creativity. I aim to work alongside you to explore your experience at your own pace, with openness and compassion. Therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of patterns, feelings or difficulties that may have felt confusing, painful or hard to put into words.

Together, we can think about what is happening in the present, while also making space for the past and the ways it may continue to shape your life now.

Creativity can also be an important part of therapy. At times, words alone may not feel enough, and creative ways of thinking can help us approach experiences that feel difficult to explain or fully understand. This does not mean you need to think of yourself as creative or artistic — simply that therapy can make space for imagination, reflection and new ways of understanding yourself.

About

About Me

I am a humanistic and integrative psychotherapist in training, offering individual psychotherapy for adults in Bath and Frome.

I aim to offer a warm, thoughtful and collaborative space where you can bring whatever is going on for you, without pressure or judgement.

I am currently in the third year of an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at the Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BCPC), accredited through Middlesex University, and I am a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Before beginning psychotherapy training, I worked for over a decade in community arts and wellbeing. This continues to shape my approach to therapy, particularly my interest in creativity, care, connection, and the different ways people find meaning in their lives.

I have experience working with:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Low self-esteem

  • Loneliness

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Loss and grief

  • Difficult childhood experiences

  • Identity issues

  • Feeling different or out of place

  • Life transitions and change

  • Student stress and anxiety

  • Chronic illness

Sessions and Fees

Sessions are 50 minutes long and usually take place weekly at the same time each week.

We can agree to work together on an open-ended basis and review things as we go, or we can agree a set number of sessions in advance, depending on what feels right for you and what you are looking for from therapy.

My current fee is £40 per 50-minute session, including the initial exploratory session.

I am a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, my clinical work is regularly supervised, and I am fully insured.

I currently have limited space in my Bath practice.

If you are looking for a therapist based in Frome, I would recommend contacting the BCPC Referral Service, which can connect you with other therapists, including those offering affordable therapy.
